Ranger Guided Walks and Talks

Our friendly Resort Rangers love the island as much as you will and are on hand to give you plenty of information about tides, traffic and conditions to help you get the most of your visit.

Self-Guided Walks

Take to the tracks and explore K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) western side and inland tracks... but don't forget to take time to smell the wild flowers.

Kingfisher Bay has a number of self-guided walks and hikes in and around the resort including the 90-kilometre K'gari (Fraser Island) Great Walk that runs from Dilli Village to Happy Valley... and our Resort Ranger team are only too happy to point you in the right direction.

Marine Activities

The calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait provide the perfect spot to swim, canoe, fish and just enjoy being outdoors.

Resort Rangers guide daily canoe paddles to the Dundonga Creek mangrove colony, teach novices how to fish and can help with bait, tackle and fishing rod hire... they also know where the fish are biting!
